Moores Inlet (1912 - 2005)
On October 1, 2005 for some of us life changed forever. After 93 years (1912-2005) Moores Inlet closed its doors. The HISTORY of Moores Inlet extends beyond a few paragraphs. The LEGACY of Moores Inlet will be passed from the generations of those who were here to create history on to those who will hear the stories of an age of innocence when fun and laughter were genuine and relationships were borne out of respect.

So let’s take a snapshot from our memory bank and be thankful to know that in our lifetime we were so fortunate as to be part of a place that enabled us to feel adulthood when we were young and to recapture our youth as we grew older. We are proud to have provided the place but it was you, the customers and employees
of Moores Inlet, who provided the spirit and the memories that will endure. The hours we spent at Moores Inlet put us in a special and wonderful place where everything was good in our world. THAT —— was the “magic” of Moores!

Now that we have reached the end of this journey let us not be sad, rather, let’s remember that wise and wonderful saying, “Don’t cry because it’s over — smile because it happened”!

Thank you for allowing us into your lives,

Mike & Joe
